The Encounter Church New England

Raymundo Castillo, born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and Yamilka Castillo, born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, met in New Bedford, Massachusetts in 2004. What began as a simple connection quickly unfolded into a God-ordained journey—one marked by faith, purpose, and a shared calling to serve. In 2006, they entered into marriage, building a life firmly rooted in Christ. Together, they are blessed with two children, Rayanie and Ryan, who faithfully serve alongside them in ministry.

As a family, they have faithfully dedicated themselves to ministry, with a strong focus on outreach, community meals, and being vessels that reflect God's love and glory. Their heart is to meet people where they are extending compassion, restoring hope, and sharing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

Their heart is for the overlooked, the hurting, and those searching for hopeto remind them that God sees them, loves them, and has a purpose for their lives.

Today, Raymundo and Yamilka Castillo serve as the Campus Pastors of The Encounter Church New England, under the covering and leadership of Senior Pastors Jonathan and Amarylis Hidalgo. With unwavering faith and vision, they are committed to seeing lives radically transformed, families restored, and communities awakened by the power of God.

Their passion echoes the heartbeat of The Encounter Church: to provide a place where people can have a life-changing experience with God and grow in their relationship with Him. With open doors and open hearts, they are building a community where everyone belongs-regardless of background or pastand where every person has the opportunity to encounter Jesus in a real and powerful way.
